Reverend Erik L. Arneson has officiated at over forty weddings since 2008 as an ordained minister in the Universal Life Church, and is delighted to continue serving as a wedding officiant in the Portland area. He is based out of Portland, Oregon, but is happy to travel in order to make your wedding excellent and fun. He will work with you to craft a unique lovely ceremony filled with the thoughts, words, and symbolism that mean the most to you.

Reverend Erik performs ceremonies for a number of different traditions, and will also create a non-denominational, atheist, or secular ceremony to suit your needs. He maintains a professional appearance and likes to think of himself as good-natured and witty.

Rates
Reverend Erik offers a number of packages that range from a simple, quick ceremony to a full-service ceremony with a completely customized wedding script. Travel inside the Portland metro area is typically included.
Last-Minute Wedding – $195
A short, pre-written ceremony in Portland with the couple and two witnesses.
We will take care of filing your license with the county. This wedding includes a 10-mile round trip.
Full Service – $395
This includes a fully customized ceremony, a consultation, and a 50-mile round trip. Additional travel is negotiable.
We also take care of filing your license with the county.
Full Budget Wedding – $295
If you’re willing to have your wedding on a non-peak day, we’ll happily give you the Full Budget Wedding pricing! Peak days are Saturdays throughout the summer, so lots of non-peak days are available.
The Full Budget Wedding includes everything the Full Service wedding does, including filing your license with the county.
Booking
To book a wedding, expect to pay a non-refundable deposit of $50 to hold the date. The balance is due 30 days before the wedding. Last-minute weddings are also usually possible, at which point the full fee will be required before the ceremony.
